Talk on the theme: “Goods and Services Tax (GST)”

August, 2017: CMR IMS final year B.Com tried to deconstruct the newly introduced concept of Goods and Services Tax (GST) and eloquently present their own understanding and views on the topic in a special talk on this theme which recently took place. The event included a brief introduction of the applications and the impact of GST. This was followed by ‘Guess the GST Price’ game, where the audience tried to guess the new prices that would now apply to various products.

Professor S.G. Mukherjee, Dean of the Department of Management & Commerce congratulated the students on this initiative and encouraged them to continue similar activities for a more vibrant campus at CMR IMS.
