The CMR Institute of Management studies (CMRIMS), part of the CMR Group of Institutions and promoted by CMR Jnanadhara Trust, serves society regardless of socio-economic levels, offering practical education through its interrelated programmes of instruction, research and professional service. The broad objective of the CMR Institute of Management studies is to impart quality education and motivate students to develop an aptitude for creative thinking and analysis. We believe that our responsibility lies in motivating students as well as nurturing them in the right environment so that they can contribute significantly to tomorrow’s world. The CMR Institute of Management Studies (CMRIMS) was established in July 1996 to promote academic and professional excellence in various branches of education. It is with this noble declaration and commitment to impart the highest quality of education that CMRIMS continues its mission.

The vision of the founder, Sri Chikka Muniyappa Reddy, the qualitative support of the trust, the astute leadership of the Principal and the sheer dedication of the teaching faculty have enabled the institution to emerge as one of the renowned colleges in Bangalore. The infrastructure of the college is given paramount importance.
